On the day preceding Baylor University's commencement exercises in May, August and December, the School of Social Work holds a Convocation ceremony to recognize and honor its graduates. More intimate and much smaller than Baylor's commencement, this event is a joyous celebration with family and friends of our student's academic accomplishments. (Business dress)
Held annually in the fall, the workshop features a guest speaker who addresses ethical situations in social work practice. Open to the community and students, the workshop provides CEU credit for professionals. Emails are typically sent in September with a link to sign up for this event, which is named in honor of Professor Emeritus Preston Dyer. (Business dress)
