Program Director, Impact LLC
Dr. Ryan W. Erck is the Program Director for the IMPACT & LEAD LLC (Living-Learning Center), located in Allen and Dawson Halls. The LLC accepts students of all classifications, welcomes students of all majors, and emphasizes the endless possibilities students have to meaningfully impact the world around them through education and effective leadership.
As the Program Director, Dr. Erck is responsible for the recruitment, marketing, admissions, and programming within the IMPACT & LEAD LLC. He also serves as the staff advisor to the student leadership councils, providing guidance through mentoring, training, and logistical support for student leaders. Dr. Erck works collaboratively with the Residence Hall Director, Faculty-in-Residence, Graduate Apprentice, and Resident Chaplain in the LLC to encourage student engagement and success at Baylor.
Dr. Erck is originally from Stephenville, Texas. He received his BS in Leadership and Development and his MS in Educational Human Resource Development, both from Texas A&M University in College Station. He is a doctoral graduate of the School of Education, with a a PhD in Higher Education Studies and Leadership from the Department of Educational Leadership. Through his research on living-learning communities and experience working with college students, Dr. Erck aims to shape leaders who are dedicated to impacting the world in positive ways.
