Bio
After finishing his undergraduate education at Ashland University as an Ashbrook Scholar, Matthew entered the PhD program at Baylor in the fall of 2019. His primary field of interest is Medieval Political Philosophy (Aquinas, Al-Farabi, and Avicenna) and Ancient Political Historiography (Herodotus and Plutarch). His secondary field of interest is American Political Thought and American Political Development, especially the colonial period and the American founding.
