Dr. Beth Hultquist is a Clinical Associate Professor at Baylor University Louise Herrington School or Nursing where she teaches “Introduction to Professional Nursing Practice" and “Synthesis and Analysis: Complex Human Needs." She is also the FastBACC Coordinator. She received her PhD from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing at Mercer University. She received her MSN from Nebraska Methodist College, in Omaha Nebraska and received her BSN from the University of Nebraska. Prior to teaching at Baylor, Dr. Hultquist was a nursing instructor at Presbyterian School of Nursing at Queens University and at Darton College in Albany, Georgia.

At LHSON, Dr. Hultquist is the Faculty Advisor for Baylor Student Nurse Association. She is also a member of the Academic Policy Committee and a Curriculum Committee Leader. She volunteers in her community as Church Nursery Coordinator at her home church and is active with her daughter’s swim team. In 2009 Dr. Hultquist was recognized in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Dr. Hultquist’s research includes her recent dissertation work, “Self-Efficacy Development in Clinical Nursing Students." Her research also includes poster presentations titled: “The Effect of Service-Learning on Critical Thinking Skills of Undergraduate Nursing Students" and “Unfolding Case Studies: A Centerpiece for Active Student Learning."
