School of Music

Woodwinds

The Baylor Woodwind Department provides a total musical learning environment so that each student can develop individually, whether as a solo performer, as a member of the many large or small ensembles, or in the realm of music education and instrumental pedagogy and literature.

Woodwinds Chamber Groups

Woodwind students have many opportunities for performance every semester. Each person is required to perform twice a semester in weekly woodwind music hours with written critiques from the faculty plus individual recordings. Attendance is required of each individual studio member.
