ABL Garden of Contentment Furniture
The Garden of Contentment provides a stunning natural respite from the intense heat of Central Texas summers, and a beautiful setting for gatherings year-round. Recent upgrades to the space have added sustainable, environmentally appropriate ground covering and flora, but work remains to install additional tables and chairs to ensure the garden provides enough spaces for individual and small group enjoyment.
The Armstrong Browning Library is actively seeking donations to support nearly $30,000 in upgrades to the Garden of Contentment's furniture, including:
- 7 perforated steelhead tables in silver ($1,459 each)
- 14 Catena chairs in silver ($562 each)
- 2 outdoor power stations ($2,083 each)
Including shipping and installation costs, this phase of the project is expected to cost between $26,313 and $30,000.
The University Libraries appreciate gifts of all sizes to this project. You can donate to the Garden of Contentment project with a gift to the Armstrong Browning Guardian Angel Fund.
