Welcome to the Baylor Libraries

The Baylor Libraries are looking for the next Dean to lead the Central Libraries and our world-renowned special collections as the university attains R1/Tier One status. On this site you will find resources about the Baylor Libraries, Baylor University, and information about the qualities and qualifications we seek in a new Dean.

Who We Are

The Baylor Libraries lead as an innovative research library that undergirds scholarship, fosters teaching and learning, and builds communities. Our dynamic faculty and staff partner with university faculty and student researchers to create innovative solutions that enhance learning and instruction. The Libraries respond to our communities, creating resources and spaces that generate collaboration and new knowledge. All the while, we serve the more traditional functions of a library, providing digital, print, archival, and additional resources to empower learning, research, and teaching. We work with partners across Baylor and in the Waco community and serve as the academic life center of a growing and thriving university.
