The Parker Design & Technology Center provides the Apparel Design & Product Development and Apparel Merchandising students access to the latest state-of-the-art apparel software, equipment, and technology. Courtesy of the Parker family, Baylor University has the most extensive collection of apparel design, merchandising, and product development software and technology of any university in North America.
Using Illustrator, PhotoShop, Vision' Fashion Studio, WebPDM, PDS (pattern design software), AccuMark, and several other software applications students create new styles and communicate a complete vision for a particular product or line. And, now students are able to design and construct garments using their own original fabrics designs that are printed on a new $83,000 digital fabric printer recently donated to Baylor by the Parker family.
All of these versatile software tools and equipment located in the Parker Design & Technology Center help to better prepare our graduates to be competitive and valuable employees in today's workforce!
