Located at Baylor University since 1957, the J.M. Dawson Institute of Church-State Studies is dedicated to the support, study, and research of church-state relations. The Dawson Institute does this by hosting lectures, symposia, and meetings. The J.M. Dawson Institute also cooperates readily with other Baylor entities such as the Baylor Department of Religion, The Journal of and Church & State, the Keston Center for Religion, Politics, and Society, and the Baptist Studies Center for Research.
