What it's all about

The Department of Physics offers several degree programs to prepare students for a broad range of careers in physics and related disciplines. The Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in physics provides a traditional liberal arts education with a solid set of core courses in physics. The Bachelor of Science degree with a major in physics provides a comprehensive curriculum that prepares students for a variety of science related careers or areas of study. For both majors, the physics department emphasizes a strong focus on laboratory research.
