World Affairs

The World Affairs minor requires students to complete 18 hours of study with 9 of those hours being upper-level courses. This interdisciplinary minor exposes students to a broad range of global topics including language, anthropology, international business and family and consumer sciences. Students are required to have at least 6 hours of second-year language study to earn this minor.

Most degree programs at Baylor do not require a student to select a minor area of study. Students may choose to minor in a field that supplements their major. Or, they may choose to pursue an area of academic interest completely outside their major. For example, a Film and Digital Media major with an interest in global filmmaking may minor in World Affairs. This helps them broaden their academic scope.

Courses students may take include International Communication, World Religions, or Economic Systems of the World.
