Path Summary

The Path Summary presents the most common paths taken by visitors through your site and the number of visits that followed each path. Use this report for insight into online behavior that you can use to update your Web site to direct visitors to specific content.

For each path taken by a visitor, the Path Summary displays the path, the last traversal, and the number of traversals (with the percentage of total traversals).

To view the actual Web pages within a path, click the page title or filename in the Path column. To display a Visit Breakdown for a path, click the number of traversals.

Note: You can change the maximum number of consecutive pages (2 to 10) that can be in a path. For details, see "Setting the Maximum Length of a Path".
