Phi Beta Kappa and University Scholars Endowed International Scholarship

The Cresson Scholarship was established in honor of Dr. Bruce C. Cresson, Professor Emeritus of Religion, who was the founding director of University Scholars and founding director of Baylor's Phi Beta Kappa chapter. For several years, Dr. Cresson served as Baylor's Director of International Programs. The maximum annual award is approximately $500.

Eligibility
For this scholarship, the applicant must:
• be a Baylor University Scholars major, classified as a sophomore, junior, or senior during the academic year in which the scholarship is awarded;
• have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 to receive the scholarship;
• be a full-time student during the scholarship period; and
• use the scholarship for study abroad.

Applications
Applications will be due by 5:00 p.m. on February 5, 2010, and award recipient will be notified by mid-February. Applications will be available in the University Scholars Office, Morrison Hall 203.8. All information furnished will remain in strict confidence and will only be available to members of the Cresson Scholarship Committee.
