Career Achievement - Dr. Brian Harbour

After seventeen years as pastor of First Baptist Church of Richardson and forty-one years in the ministry, Brian Harbour '66, PhD '73, will retire from the church on April 30. The author of sixteen books, Harbour also was an adjunct professor at Baylor's George W. Truett Theological Seminary from the school's inception until 2005. He was on the original Board of Advisors that recommended the establishment of the seminary and served on the seminary's board for five years. He is a past director of the alumni association and was a Baylor regent from 1995-2005. In his retirement, Harbour will continue to be available for supply and interim pastoral work and will teach classes in the Gary Cook Graduate School of Leadership at Dallas Baptist University.
