7/2/14 Afterschool Teaching Positions
There are several Afterschool Teaching Positions available at Live Oak Classical School for the 2014-2015 school year. Live Oak is a private Christian school for JK-12 grade. Afterschool teachers work from 3:15-5:30 on school days, supervising students during an outdoor time, snack time, quiet homework period, and some free time. Positions are open for a JK/K teacher, a 1st/2nd grade teacher, a 3rd-6th grade teacher, and an Afterschool Care Coordinator. Pay is $9 an hour. Some experience working with children is preferred. The Live Oak school calendar lines up with the Baylor calendar on most, but not all, holidays. In particular, Live Oak goes later in December and in May than colleges do. 4/25/14 Design & Technology Assistant
Truett Technology Services is seeking a Design & Technology Assistant. This opportunity is part-time/student worker position at 20hrs/week and is only available to current Truett students. Responsibilities include graphic design, content creation, photography, and AV setup and operation. Requirements include knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator (or comparable design software), photography experience, and basic AV knowledge. 3/7/14 Summer Internship at Covenant Baptist Church
Covenant Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas is accepting applications for a two-month internship during the summer of 2014. As a faith community, this will be our first experience sponsoring an intern, and in so doing we hope to craft a meaningful experience by providing an intern with helpful interaction regarding their work and partnering them with both a support team and a mentor.

Covenant describes itself as a contemplative Christian community, and we are indeed on that journey. We are a small church with one pastor, Kyndall Rothaus, and we are looking for someone to sojourn alongside us this summer. For more information about our community, visit covenantbaptist.org.

Applicants should be either in seminary or nearing their undergraduate graduation and preparing to enter seminary. The internship will involve assisting the pastor in a variety of ministry related activities, such as worship planning, children’s programming, providing creative input, and competing administrative tasks, but the role will also be shaped to fit some of the intern's own ministry interests. 1/7/14 Part Time Volunteer Coordinator (Federal Work Study): Waco Community Development
Organize and coordinate the volunteer and community service activities for Waco Community Development. The position involves coordinating volunteer groups, organizing projects, and shuttling supplies from the office to the worksites. Applicant must be organized, good communicator, flexible, lift boxes up to 25 pounds, able to walk and enjoy being outside. Miscellaneous general clerical duties may be assigned such as retrieving and delivering mail, assist in preparing mailings, etc. Weekday work schedule is flexible. There will be work on Saturdays.
