On Wings of Eagles, directed by Stephen Shin and co-directed by Michael Parker. Produced by Jim Green and Mark Bacino. Starring Joseph Fiennes and Shawn Dou. Continuing the story of the Academy Award-winning film Chariots of Fire, the film focuses on Olympic gold-medalist Eric Liddell during his time as a missionary in China and when he was held in a Japanese labor camp.

"Eric Liddell's daughter, Heather, has often commented, 'When you walked with Eric, you wanted to be like him. He represented the finest of the human spirit.' For me personally, Eric's faith, hope and other-regarding spirit witness beautifully to how Christians can and should live in sports and as missionaries in their spheres of influence," said. Dr. John B. White, assistant professor of practical theology and ethics and director of the sports ministry/chaplaincy program at Truett Seminary.
