The day of my presentation I was able to share the immediacy of his message from the oldest library room at Oxford. Spiritually, I experienced this privilege as a mantling of "my Father's message" on my own preaching development.
Yes, there were facts given. There were sights seen. There were experiences had; but the impact was spiritually deep. God is working magnificently NOW in Me as God was working magnificently THEN in them.
One of the great pleasures was to walk in the footsteps of Dr. Gregory. He carried his umbrella, that he held up to gather his students. Dr. Gregory is an encyclopedia of information and interesting stories. Dr. Gregory's leadership through the Spurgeon Tour is a must for a Preacher of the Word!- Laurie Tuttle, M.Div '16
