At Truett Seminary, affordability is central to our mission. We are committed to helping our students receive an excellent seminary education at a manageable price. We ensure an affordable education for all students at Truett Seminary through scholarships, financial aid, and a low cost of tuition.

*Truett Seminary's basic tuition rate is $863 per hour before scholarships are applied. Final tuition cost is calculated after the student files a Church Certification form which certifies membership at a Baptist church.

Required Fees: $923/semester
Books and supplies: $500 (estimate)

Student Life Center: $448/semester

This fee allows access to all recreational areas of the Student Life Center. Please review SLC building use policies for additional information (fee is reduced for summer term).

Athletic Events: $212/semester

This fee allows students to attend all Baylor home athletic events, with the exception of post-season events.

Vehicle Permit: $350/year

This fee allows students to park in student-designated spots in campus parking areas/garages from August thru August of following year.

Student Health Center:

All Truett students registered in the current school session have access to the Baylor University Health Services/Medical Clinic located at the Student Life Center for the diagnosis and treatment of injuries and illnesses. Please visit their website for a full list of services and additional information.

Baylor University Shuttle (BUS):

The Baylor University Shuttle (BUS) is free of charge to all Truett students. It is a fixed route transportation system operated by Waco Transit in cooperation with the Baylor Department of Parking and Transportation Services.

  • Baptist Church Matching Scholarship
    Baylor University will match on a dollar-for-dollar basis, not to exceed $1,000 in an academic year, scholarship funds given to Baptist students from a Baptist church, state Baptist convention or Baptist-affiliated program. Duly authorized Baptist church leaders must certify a statement for each check in order to request matching funds. The Baptist Church Matching form can be found (here). Checks and statements must be received by the Cashier's Office in order for matching funds to be applied. Matching funds are available for fall and spring semesters for full-time students in good standing. Matching funds are not available for the summer term.
