Congratulations on your acceptance to Truett Seminary! Here are the next steps you will need to take as an incoming M.Div or M.T.S. student. And as always, feel free to call us if you have any questions.

| Pay Your Enrollment Deposit To ensure your spot in the Fall 2009 class, you will need to pay the $100 enrollment deposit. This deposit will be applied to your student account and reduces balance owed during financial settlement. Please make your check or money order payable to Truett Seminary. Note: We cannot accept debit or credit cards. |
| Seek and Receive Financial Information Check out financial information on the Truett website including estimated costs, Truett scholarship awards, outside scholarship opportunities, church matching, and need-based aid. After paying your enrollment deposit, you will receive a scholarship award letter from Truett Seminary. You will also receive an award notification from the Office of Academic Scholarships and Financial Aid. The financial aid booklet and FAQs are also helpful. Their office can assist with all questions regarding new or deferred loans. |
| Activate Your Bear_ID This ID, along with your password, gives you access to your Baylor email account, as well as any campus computer. Please note: you will not be able to activate your Bear_ID until your deposit has been processed. |
| Locate Your Baylor ID Number Your Baylor ID is the 9-digit number that you will use for all of your years here, so you might as well get acquainted with it! You can obtain your Baylor ID Number here. |
| Set Up Your BearWeb Account BearWeb is the online service that primarily allows students to register for classes. From BearWeb, you may also check final grades, look at your transcript, and access your timecard if working on campus. BearWeb is accessed with your Baylor ID number and a PIN number. |
| Sign-up for Classes Once you have set up your BearWeb account you will be able to register for classes for the upcoming semester. For more information concerning registration as well as a list of suggested classes to take during your first semester at Truett please visit the Registration & Suggested Classes page. |
| Submit FAFSA- (If applicable) To be considered for need-based financial aid, students will need to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) prior to enrollment in the fall semester. The FAFSA is based on a couple different factors; therefore, even if you think your family may not qualify, it is highly recommended to still file for FAFSA. File the FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov. |
| Your Options for Housing Truett Seminary students have several options when it comes to housing. We maintain a list of both houses and apartments that are available for students to rent as well as a list of students who are seeking roommates. Both of these lists are located in the Housing Options section of the Truett website. Additionally, Baylor provides the option for on campus graduate student housing which is open to all Truett students. The Quadrangle is another option for off campus housing for graduate students. (Note: In order to access the Housing Options section of the Truett website you must first activate your Bear ID.) |
| Buying Textbooks Once you have registered for classes you can visit the Baylor Bookstore in person (1201 South 5th Street) or online at the Baylor Bookstore Website to purchase your textbooks. |
| Sign Up for Orientation Orientation for all Fall 2009 incoming students at Truett Seminary will be on August 19-21, 2009. Orientation is required for ALL incoming students. Please sign up for Orientation here. A complete schedule is available here. |
| When Your Bill Arrives, Pay Your Balance and Confirm Attendance Baylor University will send an e-bill to your Baylor email account. Financial settlement is a two-part process that you will need to complete. It involves your paying the balance on your student account and confirming your attendance. | Baylor Student ID Card Baylor University's ID card is a single-card program that combines many features including identification, library privileges, building access, lab access, meal plans, selected student functions, football ticket distribution, debit card plus other activities. The ID card office is located on the 1st floor of Robinson Tower just across from the Baylor Cashier's Office. |
| Spiritual Formation Group Placement Questionnaire Please take a few minutes to fill out this short questionnaire which will help us in placing you in a compatible group by the start of the upcoming semester. |
| Submit Your Completed Health Form Before beginning class, you must submit the completed health form to the Health Services office. You will need to make an appointment with your doctor, so don't wait! |
| Need Help Moving? If you are moving to Waco and would like assistance moving into your new place, please fill out the Move In Assistance Form, and we will be happy to help you with the process of getting settled into your new home or apartment. |
| Update Your Local Address, Cell and Emergency Contact Help us by providing an update of your local address, phone and/or cell phone numbers, and contact information in case of an emergency. After you log into BearWeb, you will be able to fill out this information in the Personal Information section. |
