Seminars

The on campus requirements of the program are primarily fulfilled by preparing for and participating in four two-week seminars. They are:

  • Research for Ministry and Spiritual Formation (September of the first year).

  • Proclamation: Biblical and Theological Studies (February of the first year).

  • Church Leadership Values and Methods (June of the first year).

  • The Church in the World (July of the second year).

Explanation: The program is designed with three seminars to be taken during the first year, and the fourth seminar is scheduled at the end of the second year. During this fourth and final seminar the off campus directed study assignments are due, along with a major theological paper. The Qualifying Exam will also be taken at the end of this fourth seminar.
