Getting Started

TRAX stands for Baylor University Financial Transactions System which is Baylor's implementation of the PeopleSoft Financials software product. We use the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Fixed Assets modules.

How to get a TRAX (PeopleSoft)user ID:

  • Download and fill out the the TRAX security form below:

    TRAX Security Application and Instructions

  • Fax the security form to "TRAX" at x.8850.
    If possible, please allow seven days to set up your TRAX user ID.
    Classes are conducted using training databases, so you can still attend training if your user ID has not been set up.

  • Sign up for training at the following link:
    (Training is required for TRAX access.)

11/13 (3:30 - 5 pm) Download to Calendar TRAX (PeopleSoft) Departmental Adjustment Training
11/17 (2 - 3:30 pm) Download to Calendar TRAX (PeopleSoft Financials) Budget Change Request Training
11/18 (2:30 - 5 pm) Download to Calendar TRAX (PeopleSoft) Executive Training

Note: TRAX (PeopleSoft) Budget Training (TRAX Part One) and TRAX (PeopleSoft) Executive Training are interchangeable except that the Executive class includes information about approving requisitions and vouchers. If the Budget Training class works better for your schedule, let the trainer know, and he can add in the information about approving requisitions and vouchers at the end of the session. Or, if the Executive Training works better for your schedule, you can leave before the information about approving requisitions and vouchers is covered.

Download and fill out the the KLX security form below:

KLX Security Application and Instructions

Mail application to: One Bear Place #97088 or FAX the security form to Christian Heger at 254-710-2664.
