What policy and procedures do I follow if my trip crosses fiscal years?
For a trip that crosses fiscal years, expenses are charged to the fiscal year in which the trip primarily takes place. For example, if a trip is taken May 29 through June 5, then the expenses weigh more heavily in the new fiscal year and must be charged to the new fiscal year's budget. Correspondingly, the new policy and procedures are applicable.
