Why do I have to pay the bill if I decide to use a Travel Card?

Baylor's Travel Card is an individual pay program. The credit limit is based on your credit history, and you are liable for any charges against the card. In most cases, the employee should receive payment from Baylor for his/her expenses before remittance to the bank for credit card charges is due. A cardholder may coordinate with the bank to have the credit card balance deducted each month from his/her personal bank account; this would be an agreement between the cardholder and the card provider, but would not involve the University.
