The overall effort of Texas State Technical College (TSTC) GEAR UP Waco is to provide cohort students with intensive, hands-on experience designed to help them become aware of career possibilities in science and technology. TSTC also offers professional development opportunities for teachers. Students have had an opportunities to learn about web page programming, gaming, welding, robotics and aviation. Summer programs are provided to help students continue their academic success while out of school.
