Rachel Barnett

Rachel Barnett (w x h, 0 KB)

Rachel received her M.F.A. in Theatre and Drama (Costume Design) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her B.S. in Theatre (Design/Production) from Illinois State University. She was the Assistant Costume Designer for Taming of the Shrew and Pericles at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival and served as a Costumer's Assistant at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL.

Most recently Rachel designed costumes for University Theatre's (UW-Madison) new modern adaptation of The Imaginary Invalid by Arrie Callahan. She also completed a semester-long fabric modification course with Deborah Dryden (author of Fabric Painting and Dyeing for the Theatre) and served as her assistant designer for the costumes of Into the Woods.
