One-on-One Mini Workshop

In a one-on-one mini-workshop, you can develop an individualized plan for implementing practical, proven strategies resulting in better grades. A session can focus on any of the following topics:

• Preparing for a test
• Taking a test
• Reading a textbook and making reading notes
• Taking lecture notes
• Making review tools
• Avoiding procrastination
• Using time to the best advantage

These meetings are typically 30 minutes to an hour long. Bring your textbook, notes, etc., and we can help you get organized to study for the test, show you how to read more effectively, or suggest more effective study techniques for a particular subject.

To request a mentor or to receive more information, call or e-mail Trish Baum at 710-8771.
