Former Students
Previous participants have been among the top science students in the country. Many of them participated in science fairs, science talent searches, or other summer science programs at other universities. All came highly recommended by their teachers. After high school, many of these students have chosen to attend top tier schools, including Baylor.
The HSSSRP students have come from throughout the United States. To date they have hailed from Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, New Jersey, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and of course, Texas. Some came from college preparatory schools, others from state or private schools, and a few were home schooled. All were very interested in science and the opportunity to have a research experience.
