The Confirmation of Financial Resources form, and the Visa Authorization Form for exchange students are used to determine if you have enough financial support and resources for the duration of your stay, as well as assist in the immigration process. As an exchange student, you will receive a scholarship for tuition. Depending on the agreement with your university, you will either have to show financial means for room, board, incidentals and health insurance. A table listing the amount, in dollars, students from different schools will need to establish as having access to for the 2013-2014 Confirmation of Financial Resources Form can be found here.
The Required Health Form can be accessed here. Instructions for completing this health form can be found here.

Exchange Student Admissions
Depending on what type of exchange student you will be, will determine which application process you go through to be admitted. Please see the different categories below and read the instructions under the category that you fall under.**Please note that the Graduate College and the Law School determines acceptance of exchange students regardless of the nomination of your home university. The application process is also a little more involved then the undergraduate application. You will get more information from the Baylor Exchange Advisor once they are aware of your nomination status.**
All exchange students will need to complete a Confirmation of Financial Resources form, a Visa Authorization Form, and the International Exchange Student Information form. Please see the box to the right for more information.
Undergraduate Exchange Admission
First, after you have been nominated by your host university, you will need to formally apply to Baylor University. The undergraduate application and its instructions for exchange students can be found.
Please be sure to complete each and every question in the application. While we do not need your high school transcripts, an SAT or ACT score, etc...we do need you to complete all of the basic questions such as your religious affiliation. Your declared religious affiliation is only meant for data tracking purposes, there are no consequences associated with declaring a religious affiliation, or lack thereof. This info, however, is compulsory due to necessary data tracking. Every year, there are a few exchange students who do not complete this question and their ability to register for classes is affected.
Using the link listed above, you will be able to apply online. However, exchange students should have already been accepted by the Student Exchange and Study Abroad Advisor; the formal, online application is the tool we use to formally enter exchange students into the Baylor system and to generate an Acceptance Letter.
