Interested in Studying Abroad?
Please utilize all of the pages you see on the lefthand toolbar to help you in your decision about studying abroad through Baylor.
Make sure to consult the "Choosing the Right Program" and "Student Responsibilities" areas while you are deciding which study abroad program is right for you.
Please note that if you attend an EXCHANGE/AFFILIATE program, you MUST attend an information session. Feel free to contact our office if you have any questions or concerns.
Baylor offers three different types of study abroad programs.
1. Group study abroad
This is where you will travel with other Baylor students and will be accompanied and most likely taught by a Baylor profressor or staff member.
2. Exchange programs
This is where you would travel independently to your destination and be in classes with the other students from that university and be taught by the faculty from that university.
3. Affiliate Programs
This type of program is very similiar to exchange programs. You will travel independently to the destination, take classes with the other students at that university and be taught by that university's faculty.
The difference between the two programs is that with exchange programs, Baylor not only sends you to that university, but the other university sends their students to Baylor. With affiliate programs, Baylor only sends students.
If at any time you have questions, do not hesitate to e-mail the study abroad office at studyabroad@baylor.edu.
Good luck with your decision!!!
