Baylor and the Big 12: Making a Difference

Nov. 19, 2013

Since joining the Big 12 Conference in 1994, Baylor has seen its athletic programs grow in national prominence, from conference titles and individual awards to national championships. The relationship between the member institutions of the Big 12 centers around the shared mission of promoting athletic and academic excellence.

Every Big 12 university promotes competitiveness and sportsmanship while also embracing the duty to our society not only to disseminate knowledge but to create and discover new knowledge. Member institutions have made significant impacts on research, science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

To highlight these accomplishments, the Big 12 Conference has launched a campaign recognizing the conference's community of scholars and their work that is impacting our world.
