Baylor will host the Campus Farmers Market from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23 in the Daniel Plaza between the Carroll Science Hall and the Bill Daniel Student Center (SUB). Local farmers and producers will come to campus to sell their sustainability sourced foods. Shoppers should bring cash.
Additionally, Baylor will host National Food Day from 10:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at the East Village Dining Commons to further promote the importance of sustainable foods and healthy eating.
The Waco Downtown Farmers Market has brought locally-produced foods to the Waco community since 2011, and has become a huge success--bring producers and customers together further connecting people with the foods they consume.
Regularly located at 400 S. University Parks in the lot next to the old fire tower from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday, the Waco Farmers Market has served the local community in creating a vibrant, family event that brings the best of local foods together in one place for all the community to enjoy.
