Traditions Rally

Traditions Rally 2015 Recap

Traditions Rally is a free, community-wide celebration held each year before the Bears kick off their first home game. The Traditions Rally includes a Baylor football pep rally with the Golden Wave Marching Band, spirit squads and members of the Bears 2015 football team, concert and a fireworks show to close out the celebration.

Passing the Torch
At the heart of Baylor's Annual Traditions Rally are numerous Spirit Traditions. Each fall, on the weekdays before the home football opener, returning students gather along with new students to celebrate Baylor's rich heritage and athletic & spirit traditions. It is on this night that the torch is officially passed to new students as bearers of the Baylor spirit and legacy.

IFC Tailgate (students only)

The IFC All-Student Tailgate is a cornerstone of the Traditions Rally experience. Student IDs are required for entry into the area and for free hot dogs and hamburgers. New Students are asked to wear Slime Caps and Line Jerseys.

See you in 2016!
