The 19th-ranked #Baylor Bears won their 6th game this year over a ranked opponent -- a new program record -- Saturday afternoon in a 78-66 victory against No. 20 West Virginia.The #EveryoneInBlack crowd of 9,385 Bears included 600+ Fort Hood soldiers & family members and about 75 veterans who are full-time Baylor students.

The Baylor women's golf team finished in seventh place after shooting 15-over-par 303 in Tuesday's final round at the Bruin Wave Invitational. The Lady Bears shot 55-over-par 919 for the 54-hole tournament.

As part of the Great Preacher Series, David Garland, Ph.D., interim provost of Baylor University, and Joel Gregory, Ph.D., professor of preaching at Baylor’s Truett Seminary, will serve as guest preachers at First Baptist Church Amarillo. Zori, an archeologist and scholar of medieval literature, conducted National Science Foundation-funded research at Mosfell farmstead in Iceland, where he is archeological field director. VIDEO INCLUDED: Baylor sophomore Kate Russell organized a fundraising event called "Carry a Jerry Run" through the Baylor organization SIGHT to raise money for the Parental Care Ministries of her hometown of Tyler, Texas. The aim of the race was to represent what it is like for Ugandan children to carry a jerry can for miles to fetch water. Nearly $3,000 was raised during the event.
