Doug Williamson, B.A. (Speech/Journalism) ’73, who has served as editor of the Abilene Reporter-News for almost five years and has worked at the newspaper for almost 32 years, announced his retirement Tuesday. He taught journalism, photography, debate and broadcasting at Waco High School for three years and worked for the Waco Tribune-Herald for nine years before returning to Abilene in 1985.
