Track. T&F Puts Eight Entries Into NCAA Indoor Championships

The Baylor track and field team had eight entries accepted in to the field for the 2017 NCAA Indoor Championships, the NCAA Committee announced late Tuesday.

Baylor baseball mashed its way to a 17-3 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Tuesday evening at Baylor Ballpark. The Bears (9-0) scored multiple runs in five innings to overwhelm the Golden Lions (0-7).

W. Tennis. No. 13 WT Anticipates Three Home Matches

The No. 13 Baylor women’s tennis team (7-2) returns to Hurd Tennis Center for three consecutive home challenges. The Lady Bears will open the stretch against Incarnate Word (3-7) and Old Dominion (6-3) on Thursday at 11 a.m. (CT) and 5 p.m., respectively. The team meets No. 21 UCLA, its third opponent in the three-day stretch, on Saturday at 1 p.m.

M. Golf. No. 11 Men’s Golf Takes Second Place at Querencia

Baylor men’s golf finished in second place at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate with a 54-hole total of 19-under-par 833. The Bears shot 14-under 269 in Tuesday’s final round, climbing one spot on the leaderboard by passing Texas (-6, 846).
