They taught me to enjoy every new day, as it truly is a gift from God,” said Aubrey Allison, a junior majoring in marketing and entrepreneurship.

KXXV: Baylor Athletics Leads Big 12 Conference In NCAA's Graduate Success Rate For First Time Since 2008

For the first time since 2008 and the fourth time overall, Baylor University has produced the Big 12 Conference's top Graduate Success Rate score, according to data released today by the National Collegiate Athletic Association. “We are honored to once again lead the Big 12 in Graduation Success Rate," said Baylor Director of Athletics Ian McCaw. Baylor has finished either first or second in the federal graduation rate report nine times in the league's 18-year history, produced the league's top mark in 2012, 2004, 2001, 2000, 1998 and 1996, and has graduated at least 60 percent of its student-athletes in 15 of the Big 12's first 18 years.

For the fifth consecutive year, Baylor University received an “A” for its core curriculum requirements in the American Council of Trustees and Alumni’s sixth annual “What Will They Learn?” report. Of the 1,098 American colleges and universities studied, Baylor was among only 23 universities nationwide – and one of only three in Texas – on the “A List” for requiring six out of seven core courses, including composition, literature, foreign language, U.S. government or history, math, and natural or physical science.
