Baylor Regents Approve On-Campus Track and Field Stadium, Move Forward in Design Development for New School of Business Building
WACO, Texas (May 17, 2013) - At their spring meeting today, the Baylor University Board of Regents approved construction of phase one of a new on-campus track and field stadium and voted to move forward in developing the design for the proposed new School of Business building.

Bicycle Alert: Remaining bikes will be removed
All bicycles remaining on campus bike racks after May 17, 2013, will be removed the week of May 20, 2013. Please take appropriate steps to remove and store your bike prior to that date. Bikes can be put back on the racks beginning the week of May 27.

Detroit Free Press: Students create devices to help disabled veterans

Nineteen engineering students from Baylor joined nursing and engineering students at the University of Detroit - Mercy (UDM) to design, build, and deliver devices that meet specific needs of three disabled veterans. The three yearlong projects were sponsored by the Kern Family Foundation to promote teamwork between universities and to encourage an entrepreneurial mindset among engineering students. Seven Baylor students traveled to Detroit to deliver their products: Tara Davis, Lauren Hurley, Gabrielle Lalou, Kyle Martin, Rebekah Pflieger, Katie Pyron and Adam Rogg. Other Baylor students contributing to the projects are Cason Cole, Ray Dudgeon, Christopher Duncan, Trevor Hogoboom, Rob Jochetz, Miles Landry, Jared Milhoan, Arryss Mills, Blake Niccum, Paige Slavik, Stephen Warner and Kelby Villarreal.
