Chip Gaines, BBA Marketing ’98, and his wife Joanna, BA Communication Specialist ’01, run Magnolia Market, Magnolia Homes and Magnolia Farm, and star in the HGTV hit-series “Fixer Upper.” The couple does not own a television, but instead have a farm with chickens, cows, goats and horses. They met at an auto repair shop, have four children, and transformed their own Victorian farmhouse from a two-bedroom house into their family home. They were honored as “The Alumni of the Year” in 2015 for their remarkable achievements.
