Service Events
Adult Ed - Adult Ed is a program that tutors adults in English and math. You will be tutoring a person in English or math on an elementary level. The majority of the people that need tutoring in English did not learn English as their primary language. It is not required but could be helpful if you knew Spanish. YMCA Tutoring - YMCA tutoring is a place for kids to be tutored. You will tutor little kids and help them with their homework. Mission Waco - This particular Mission Waco is a youth center for adolescents to hang out after school. You will be making dinner such as nachos, spaghetti, or whatever the MIC has chosen for that day and feeding the adolescents. This event does require that you buy the food supplies needed to cook with, but you will be rewarded with hours. + Many more service opportunities!!
