The Poverty Summit Planning Committee meets weekly throughout the academic year to plan and execute the Poverty Summit at Baylor University.

[OPPORTUNITIES]

Students on the Poverty Summit Planning Committee:

•Gain valuable leadership skills in event planning and community building

•Form partnerships with local agencies, colleges, and universities

•Encourage students to think meaningfully about social justice issues

[MEMBERSHIP EXPECTATIONS]

Active participation in the planning and execution of Poverty Summit. All members are required to have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 as outlined in University policies. Members are expected to participate actively in weekly meetings and other events.

Interested students may complete an application to serve as a member of this dynamic team.
