WACO, Texas--Student Government will have approximately 6 open senator positions for the 2009 spring semester and approximately 5 slots on the Student Court. While these positions range in role and function, each is equally important to the success of the organization.
"We're looking for sharp, dedicated, and well-rounded individuals that really want to make a difference in the lives of students and in the community," said Student Body President Bryan Fonville. "We want students that are going to take us to the next level as an organization."
Open positions are filled through an application and interview process. Applications will be available in the spring semester in the Student Government office (1st Floor SUB) in the Cub Student Lounge.
"Student Government provides its members with unique and rewarding opportunities," said Fonville. I hope students will take advantage of next semester's opportunity to get involved and to make a difference."
