What do awesome musicians, Christmas trees, and camels have in common? This holiday season, you will be given the chance to behold all three and much much more at Christmas on 5th street and the Annual Kappa Omega Tau Christmas Tree Lighting.

This merry event is presented by the Place 2BU and KOT and will take place on Burleson Quadrangle from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. on Nov. 30.

For the 41st year, this event will continue to bring life to campus and to nativity scenes. Yes, that's right, the camels and sheep have come to Waco and are ready to be photographed.

Santa and Mrs. Claus also await you with holiday cheer. Although they couldn't bring any snow with them from the North Pole, Mrs. Claus has promised to provide hot chocolate and apple cider for the guests, and Santa is ready to hear your wish lists. Horse drawn hay rides will also keep you busy and provide great photo ops.

Of course, the main event is the free concert and the majestic Christmas tree which will be lit up at 7 p.m. This year, the Christmas Tree Lighting will showcase the musical talents of Shane and Shane, Jason Morant and Bethany Dillon.

So bring a coat and camera and come make history with the Baylor family in this Christmas tradition that will be sure to live on for many more holiday seasons.
