Baylor University

2013-2014 Events

10/1: Zombie Follies

Freshmen are sure to build to community during this messy event. Meeting in Fountain Mall at 6PM, food flies in every direction as students take part in games and shaving cream wars.

10/19: Homecoming Reception

Each year, the Ed Crenshaw Student Foundation Center opens its doors to the extended Student Foundation family. Alumni from all across the nation gather and reminisce about their treasured years in Student Foundation, while enjoying a continental breakfast following the Homecoming parade.

11/6: Fall Festival

Come join us as we watch a film outdoors in Fountain Mall. This is a fun, free event for the Baylor community to enjoy.

3/22: Bearathon

This 13.1 mile half-marathon and the concurrent
5K Run draw participants from all over the nation.
Taking runners on a scenic tour of Waco and Baylor
campus, Bearathon has been coined "The Toughest
Half-Marathon in the State of Texas." Started in 2003,
this is the main fundraising event each spring.

5/2: Annual Scholarship Banquet

Hundreds of students benefit from scholarships each year because Student Foundation members are dedicated to raising funds for their fellow students, and alumni and friends of the University are enthusiastic about giving. This invitation-only banquet offers students the opportunity to meet their donors and show their gratitude face-to-face.
