Course

The Bearathon (Cert #: TX10030ETM) course begins on the campus of Baylor University, passes through beautiful Cameron Park, takes runners on a tour of downtown Waco and ends back at the Baylor University campus.

The 5K Run starts and ends at the same location as the Bearathon and takes participants on a scenic tour of the Baylor University campus. Strollers are also welcome on the 5k!

Start Times

Bearathon - 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2010
5K Run - 8:05 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2010

The Bearathon course will close at 11 a.m. (14 min./mile pace). Walkers may request an early start time.

Finisher Premiums

All Bearathon finishers will receive both a finishers t-shirt and a medal. 5K Fun Run finishers will receive a medal.

Awards

Prize money ($300 first place, $200 second place, $100 third place) will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the Baylor student, Overall and 40+ Open Bracket (Master's Divison) categories of the Bearathon half-marathon race.

In addition, awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the following divisions of the Bearathon half-marathon race:
Baylor students, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70+.
