**Why Statistics?**

Science and Engineering have always been my passion since childhood. In my previous experience, I always need statistics while applying my skills and knowledge to solve problems. So I decided to deepen my knowledge in statistics by obtaining a PhD degree in statistics.

**Why Baylor?**

After conversing with several Baylor alumni while at Indianapolis, the PhD program at Baylor was the most potentially fulfilling path which I can get the most out of. The faculty-student ratio, the university size, and atmosphere are great. The department designs well ahead for every student's Program of Study (POS), and advises and monitors the progress every semester to ensure the student on track. As an alumnus, looking back on this decision three years ago, I would still choose Baylor all over again given another chance.
