Spring Service Project Recap - Pack of Hope
Staff Council partnered with Pack of Hope for a food drive to support their program of supplying school districts & their eligible students with backpacks containing nutritious food to prevent hunger from Friday through Sunday when students are not in schools. Reuniting Families with Dr. Lori Baker
Just last year, the Dallas Morning News named Dr. Lori Baker a Texan of the Year finalist for her work along the U.S./Mexico border in identifying the remains of deceased immigrants in an effort to reunite them with their families. Dr. Baker has been praised for her scholarship and her humanitarian efforts both nationally and internationally and is a tremendous example of one individual using her gifts and talents to serve others. We are excited to hear from Dr. Baker as she shares more about her life’s calling and her compelling and powerful work that is truly making a difference.
