McLennan Community College is looking forward to this year's Professional Development Day and we hope to have you in attendance. The Professional Development Day will take place on January 3, 2007 at McLennan Community College's campus. The day will be centered on technology that can be used in the classroom, office, and at home.
This year the keynote speaker will be Phillip Long from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and we also will have many other wonderful presenters, sponsors, and of course, participants. In addition to MCC faculty and staff, we will be inviting representatives from 10 different colleges, universities and organizations to attend. MCC faculty/staff will be presenting in several sessions throughout the day along with twelve companies who will also be sponsoring the event, including Dell, Blackboard, Cisco, and Adobe. There will be quite a few sessions that I think would be interesting to Baylor staff and faculty including, Blackboard who will be presenting three sessions, Dell, TurningPoint, and Baylor's own John Lowe. Please make plans to be with us on January 3rd. This will be a great opportunity to not only network with individuals from surrounding colleges and companies but also to discover innovative and practical ideas to implement in your own workplace.
To sign up for MCC's PD Day and to see the exciting array of session topics, presenters, and schedule please go to: http://www.mclennan.edu/pdday/. A free lunch and breakfast will be provided by MCC and our sponsors so for an accurate head count for breakfast and lunch please register online for MCC's Professional Development day. Please feel free to invite your colleagues!!!
