Ghana Education & Wellness

May Mini-Mester 2014 (May 18-June 1)



Students will spend a majority of their time with the children in The Village of Kyerekrom working alongside teachers at the local school.  

Students will participate in a variety of activities including sharing the gospel, teaching English, Science experiments, empowering and supporting teachers, providing school supplies, teaching in the classrooms, and other community development activities. Students will also have an opportunity to teach wellness education to children (ex. teeth cleaning, hand washing).

Great for students interested in Education, Social Work, &  Wellness professions! OPEN TO ALL MAJORS! 


Broaden cultural competency

Understand deeper the importance of education & wellness in the developing world

Improve the ability to advocate for the needs of the most vulnerable populations in the world
