PDK Baylor Chapter History

The PDK Baylor Chapter was officially Chartered on November 24, 1969. Homer L. Johnson was President and there were 62 Charter members. The members consisted of Baylor faculty, MCC faculty, Region XII employees, and administrators from local school districts. All were male. (This was prior to PDK changing their bylaws to admit women.) It appears from examining the membership; that none of the members were teachers. The membership consisted of professors, superintendents, principals, Region XII administrators, and retired educators.
