Philosophy of teaching:
The arts and science of teaching is why I am at Baylor. Baylor has had, and should continue to have, a strong focus on quality teaching. Research, whether qualitative or quantitative, should serve to strengthen teaching skills of the faculty. Our students deserve teachers who care about learning, who see themselves as facilitators of thinking events, and who push students beyond what they (the students) dreamed possible. That is why I teach at Baylor!
Research Interests
Accomplished Teaching, Mentoring Skills, and research on the development of humor with young children.
