What is CTCTM?

The Central Texas Council of Teachers of Mathematics is a professional educators organization serving the central Texas area mathematics teachers and leaders. It was organized to provide communication and networking opportunities with colleagues, sharing of ideas and experiences, and a venue for dissemination of information about reform in mathematics education.

CTCTM Goals

• Enable Area mathematics educators to establish connections with colleagues and share ideas, and experiences

• Disseminate current research and information concerning the effective teaching and learning of mathematics

• Provide supporting quality professional development in mathematics education

• Serve as a link to area mathematics teachers to local, regional, state, and national events and news related to mathematics education

• Involve and recruit exemplary area educators to serve in leadership positions in mathematics education
